Brief Introduction of Vacuum Melting Furnace

Release time:

2024-10-19

Vacuum induction melting furnace is mainly used for all kinds of high-temperature alloys, precision alloys, iron-based, nickel-based alloys and some non-ferrous metals and their alloys in vacuum or under the protection of inert gas, using the principle of medium frequency induction heating for melting, smelting, casting molding. In addition to all the characteristics of the general vacuum induction furnace, the furnace is separated by valves between the feeding bin and the melting bin, the melting bin and the ingot mold bin, so that the feeding (temperature measurement), melting, ingot cooling and ingot can be carried out without breaking the vacuum, and semi-continuous production can be realized. The furnace is also suitable for vacuum melting and smelting of hinged iron boron rare earth alloy raw materials.

The use temperature generally depends on the material of the pile pot. When magnesium oxide is used as the crucible material, the smelting temperature can reach 1800 ℃. When the crucible material is made of oxidation drill, it can reach 1900 ℃, while when the graphite crucible is used, it can reach 2500 ℃. Users can choose the type of crucible material according to their own smelting materials. It is a vacuum smelting equipment with the advantages of wide use, strong adaptability, high production efficiency, convenient use, uniform alloy composition, small footprint, and convenient use and maintenance.

The vacuum induction melting furnace is composed of electric furnace body, medium frequency melting power supply, electrical control system, vacuum system, power supply system, tilting furnace mechanism, inductor, isolation valve, hydraulic system, pneumatic system, water cooling system, and also has a working platform.

Electric furnace body:

The electric furnace body is composed of furnace body, furnace cover, feeding, infrared temperature measurement, thermocouple temperature measurement system. The furnace body includes a melting chamber and an ingot mold chamber. The melting chamber and the feeding bin are connected by 450mm plate valve, and the melting chamber and the ingot mold chamber are connected by gate valve, and the ingot pulling mechanism is provided.

Furnace cover:

The furnace cover is a double-layer water jacket butterfly head, and its inner layer is made of 304 stainless steel. The outer layer is carbon steel. The furnace cover is provided with inspection port, feeding port, infrared temperature measuring port and monitor port. The furnace cover is opened by upward lifting and translation. The furnace cover is lifted and lowered by hydraulic drive, and the translation is driven by electric drive.

Melting room:

The melting chamber is a double-layer vertical drum structure, the inner layer of which is made of 304 stainless steel and the outer layer is made of carbon steel. The furnace body is provided with interfaces such as vacuum measuring port, inflation port, vacuum pumping port, isolation valve port, and electricity inlet.
